Python Job: BI Engineer

We have a number of current career opportunities in the SQL BI area, building on our many years of analytics and insights creation for key clients across Ireland and also the UK. We have a number of immediate opportunities, and also warmly welcome those interested in other pending opportunities.

Current Role Locations:

• Role A: Ireland-based or ability to be on-site in Dublin occasionally. Working in creation of data insights for social services delivery.
• Role B: Dublin based fulltime. Working on a key BI initiative with a key client government department.

Language:

• Must have fluent spoken and written English.

Experience level:

• At least 4 years relevant work experience required.
• Must have appropriate right-to-work.

Skills and Experience:

The core skills are in SQL Server or Oracle, with PowerBI or Tableau, with proven ability to design, organise and deliver own work in collaboration with colleagues.

• Ideally SSRS, SSIS, SSAS experience: One of the roles is focused on prototyping, designing, and developing in Microsoft Business Intelligence Development Studio (BIDS) using Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services, Reporting Services and Integration Services or SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT).
• Design and development of ETL processes.
• Support the design of data migration process to maximise the quality, integrity and availability of relevant data.
• Design logical and physical data models.
• Experience in database and query performance tuning.
• Advanced T-SQL scripting.
• Skills in R / Python and similar likely advantageous within these roles.
• The design and development and publication of Power BI or Tableau visualisations, dashboards and reports.

Also:

• Experience and skills in working within an Agile environment, and in guiding the approaches towards agile delivery.
• An open and collaborative approach, with strong code and technical documentation management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: €60,000.00-€80,000.00 per year
